Sorry, Blogs been at the end of my list of things to do lateley as we have so many weddings to organise.  The Home Dressing Service is going fantasticly as the word is spreading about how good it really is, taking the stress out of every thing on the wedding morning.

This weekend we have the first of our Designer Shows, from Sottero and Midgley.  This is Maggie Sottero’s new label and it is absolutely beautiful, infact many are saying its better than her Maggie Sottero Label!  We already have over 40 brides booked in so its going to be a really busy weekend…but we love it! xx

Got a sneak preview of Amanda Wyatts new March 2010 collection today…its absolutly georgeous!  She just seems to be getting better and better lately, using different fabrics and colours and so many of her designs now have lace up, corset style backs, giving a fabulous fit.  Look out for her new designs which will be in store in about 8 weeks time.  I am really lucky to be the first shop in the Midlands to see her new collection, before it even goes to Harrogate where it will be available for other shops to view.  I have also booked a trunk Show with Amanda for June so look out for this on my events page.  Girls…Amanda Wyatts designs are some you really need to come and try on!

This week has just been a whirlwind..we’ve had so may visitors after the show it’s been really amazing !  Thank  you so much to all of you for coming to see us and thank you all for trusting us with the most important day of your life, it’s an honour and an absolute pleasure to be serving you all.  The new collection from Sottero and Midgley (Maggie Sottero’s couture label) has gone down a storm with so many of you choosing her designs.  I have to say they are simply georgeous with beautiful detailing and a fab fit.  Any way, once again, thank you to all our customers, we value each and every one of you xx

We’ve had the most brilliant day today.  Started out at 6am this morning, over to The Mill Hotel, Alveley to set up our first show, then off to the Botanical gardens in Edgbaston, Birmingham for our other show.  Both shows have gone really really well for us with loads of lovely feedback about our wedding dresses and our friendly approach to all who visit us.  Once again a huge thankyou to all of my staff, girls you are the best xxx.  We’ve had lovely models on the catwalk as well today, Scarlett, Simone, Jo, Aimee, Kate and Beth…thanks girls you all looked fab and did a great job and not forgettting our Mother Of The Bride Models, Rose & Jane who were just brlliant!

I’ve enjoyed myself so much, its been lovely as well because my husband & children were there to support me and we even managed to get my youngest son, Max, who is five, modelling little boys suits on the catwalk.(He loved it!)

Many Thanks also to Howard, the Toast master, who did such a lovely job introducing us all and to the resident DJ, Keith, at The Botanical Gardens.  Such a beautiful venue and the hospitality was second to none, they just couldn’t do enough for us,  it has been an absolute pleasure to work there today.  A wedding venue I would whole-heartedly reccommend.

Cant wait to do the fashion show at this event!  We will have our Mother of The Bride outfits on the catwalk as well which will just be fab!

We also did the Prom show at Merryhill today.  This also was extremely busy with the Prom Season just around the corner.  We had so many lovely comments about our Prom Dresses which always makes our job worthwile, knowing we’ve picked the best Designs from the best Designers like Mori Lee, Alyce Designs and Envi Prom, for all our Prom girls.  Its great as well, because Sarah & Abbie get involved with the Prom buying, they are so up to date with trends and fashions, it keeps everything new, fresh and up to date….thanks girls, you’ve done it again….lots of great choices for Prom dresses this season!

Phew…had a brilliant day at Himley Hall, Dudley, today.  We have attended a fantastic Bridal fair which we’ve all really enjoyed.  We did the catwalk show along with another couple of shops so it was lovely to see so many different designs. Our new 2010 Sottero & Midgley collection went down a storm with brides queuing up to make appointments to come and try on!   The show was really busy though I have to say I’m not surprised with such a beautiful venue.  Must make a note in my diary to do this show agin in the Autumn.

On Sunday we exhibited at The Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston, Birmingham.  This was a Prom Fayre with loads of other exhibitors there as well.  The Catwalk was really good, giving all new season Prom girls the opportunity to see the new collections on the Catwalk.  We all had a fab time meeting lots of new customers, so thank you to all of you xx
