A Special Moment: Our Charity Raffle with The Mary Stevens Hospice
There are moments in business that go far beyond what we do day to day – moments that remind us why we started, what we stand for, and the community that surrounds us. Our charity raffle in support of The Mary Stevens Hospice is one of those moments.
This week we were so thrilled to announce that Melissa was the winner of our latest charity raffle – a huge congratulations to her! (see the live draw here!) Winning a wedding dress is always exciting, but this raffle carries a meaning that runs much deeper for us.
In June last year, we sadly lost a truly special person, my wonderful mother-in-law, Pat. She was one of TDR Bridal's biggest supporters, always cheering us on and believing wholeheartedly in everything we do. She loved being part of the journey, and her warmth, kindness, and encouragement are things we carry with us every single day.
In her memory, we created this raffle in partnership with The Mary Stevens Hospice, a place that provides extraordinary care, compassion, and support to families during some of the most difficult times imaginable. It felt only right to give back to an organisation that means so much, and to honour Pat in a way that reflects her generous spirit.
Every single raffle ticket sold goes directly to the hospice, helping them continue their incredible work. Thanks to the kindness and support of our beautiful brides and their families, this year's raffle raised an amazing £1,405 through the sale of 281 tickets.
We are also proud to donate two wedding dresses to the hospice each year as part of this initiative. For us, it's not just about weddings, it's about love, community, and making a difference where we can.
To everyone who bought a ticket, shared our raffle, or supported us in any way, thank you. Your kindness truly makes an impact, and we are so grateful to have such a caring community around us.
