She starts with a sleek, sculpted silhouette and offers the option to layer on a dramatic, sweeping overskirt when the mood (or the aisle) calls for it. I’ve always loved an interchangeable gown, and this one feels especially meaningful — a reincarnation of our beloved Elke, reimagined. The Marrakesh sequin-beadwork is a hand-crafted celebration of artistry and metamorphosis — at first glance geometric, but look closer and you’ll find a hidden butterfly woven into the pattern. I wanted her to feel equal parts fierce and fluttery — a gown that commands attention, yet still knows how to take flight.”
